Punjab Government Finance Department has issued Letter No 4/6/2021-
4FP1/1166-1170 dated 07-09-2021 for the implementation of 6th pay commission , now the government has made an ammendment that the 3'd line
of said letter ie "Allopathic doctors both in Health and Medical Education
Departments" should be read as "Medical, Dental and Ayurvedic doctors both in
Health and Medical Education Departments".
The Governor of Punjab is also pleased to decide that the Non Practice
Allowance (NPA) shall be admissible @ 20% of Revised Basic Pay in the revised pay
structure subject to the condition that the sum of basic pay and NPA does not exceed
Rs. 2,37,500/- (Rupees two lakh thirty seven thousand and five hundred only)
